Rittenhouse Rolls Out New Products and Services at Landscape Ontario Trade Show

This year Rittenhouse once again had new products and services to offer clients. There was no shortage of people on the Rittenhouse booth and everyone was more than willing to introduce customers to the new products and services. Perhaps the highlight was the new landscaping directory service Rittenhouse is offering free through Landscape and Lawns.com. Landscape professionals can now list their company and services for free at http://www.landscapeandlawns.com The service also benefits the customers of landscape professionals because they can now search easily for the service they require without leaving the comfort of their home. The geographic search process also increases efficiency greatly. Landscape and Lawns was well received by attendees and many were looking forward to including their information in the directory.

In addition to Landscape and Lawns, Rittenhouse also introduced new products for the professional landscaper. One product deals specifically with the looming pesticide bans that are appearing across Canada. A new granular herbicide called Sarritor has been developed for use against broad leaf weeds. Rittenhouse is supplying an applicator for Sarritor. The Sarritor applicator dispenses a certain amount of product; the amount of product being dispensed can be adjusted by the twist of a knob. This allows the applicator operator to have control over the efficient use of the Sarritor, thus reducing waste.

Rittenhouse also introduced two new weeding tools that embrace the shift towards organic lawn care by professional landscapers in Ontario and Canada. The Weed Dragon Torch kit provides an alternative solution to weed control by burning the weed. There are different torch kits available and are great way to eliminate or reduce the use of herbicides. The second weeding tool is the Weed Roller, which applies your favorite weed control product, including horticultural vinegar via a rolling sponge ball. Simply fill the handle with weed control product and water, and then open the valve and start rolling over the desired vegetation. Since there is no spraying involved, there is no need to worry about drift in windy conditions.
